They will be engaged in discovering truths about our interconnected world.<\/p>\n<p>They will uncover the importance of organizing things into categories, and apply this skill to living things, phases of matter, and more! Students will explore how energy can make things move and how gravity makes things go &#8220;down.&#8221; They&#8217;ll investigate the particulate nature of matter and the effects of the Earth&#8217;s rotation, and examine how to distinguish between different materials and between plants and animals.<\/p>\n<p>Using observations they have unconsciously internalized, students will gain conscious understanding of the world around them in a way they never imagined! And through it all, they\u2019ll be asking questions, seeking answers, and having fun!<\/p>\n<p>Scientific Connections through Inquiry Level 0 is intended for students in approximately grades K-2, though because it is discussion-based it can be adapted for a wide range of ages.<\/p>\n<p>The units covered in SCI Level 0 are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organization<\/strong>: Organizing Things Into Catagories<br \/>\n<strong>Living &amp;
